A Mixtape Dedicated to Emerging Artists

It’s a fundamental human need to pass music around, and however the technology evolves, the music keeps moving.

― Rob Sheffield, Love is a Mix Tape

I have passed music along to my friends for a long time, whether through texting them about the latest songs and spamming them with music suggestions they never asked for or blasting music during calls to make them feel the need to ask what song is playing. Now, I have finally decided to pass music along to those on the internet.

Anna Sofia

According to Anna Sofia’s website, “at just 17, the Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has won critical acclaim, millions of streams and legions of dedicated fans for one simple reason: she’s being herself. Her music is not the result of focus groups, marketing or following trends. There’s no hindsight and no lecturing. She’s just an artist living in the moment, reflecting life back to the same people coming of age and navigating the drama of becoming an adult.” She released her latest single, “6ft Under”, on July 7, 2021.
