The results of the 2020 US Election have finally come out. The person in the White House starting January 2021 will be our past Vice President Joseph Robinette Biden. After a grand win for the Democrats, there is a need to know what the future of America will look like. These are Biden-Harris’ three main plans for presidency.

COVID-19 PLAN:

The United States, as is the rest of the world, is currently in a large setback due to the pandemic. We have many people who believe it’s a hoax, many who think that wearing a mask is unneeded, and many people who go out and party, no matter what their views are of the virus. Joe Biden plans to make sure everyone understands the danger of the virus and make sure that everyone is properly protected from it. Even starting in March, Joe Biden made a detailed plan of how to deal with the virus to aid President Donald Trump. Joe Biden currently has a checklist on how he will attempt to eradicate the virus.

1. Make sure all Americans have access to reliable and free testing.
2. Fix personal protective equipment (such as masks, gloves, etc) problems for good.
3. Provide clear national guidance for how communities should navigate the pandemic.
4. Plan for the distribution of treatments and vaccines.
5. Protect older Americans and Americans at risk.
6. Rebuild and expand the defenses that were dismantled, to predict, prevent, and mitigate pandemic threats.
7. Implement mask mandates nationwide.

ECONOMIC RECOVERY PLAN:

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a harsh decrease in economic health nationwide. Because of this, the ability for people of the lower class and even the middle class to take care of themselves is now at risk. Joe Biden plans to make sure the people of America can go back to living their normal lives when the virus is gone worry-free. His plan for doing so includes:

• Providing state, local, and tribal governments with the aid they need.
• Extend COVID crisis unemployment insurance.
• Provide a comeback for Main Street entrepreneurs and businesses.
• Mobilize American manufacturing and innovation.
• Mobilize American ingenuity to build a modern infrastructure and a clean energy future
• Mobilize American talent and heart to build a 21st-century caregiving and education workforce.
• Mobilize across the board to advance racial equity in America.

HEALTH CARE PLAN:

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a large spike in the need for healthcare, and ever since President Donald Trump made it legal to deny the Transgender community of service in the medical industry, healthcare is considered a privilege. Joe Biden plans to make sure Healthcare is universally affordable for everyone and that it’s legal for everyone. His plan for doing so includes:

1. Giving every American access to affordable health insurance.
2. Providing the peace of mind of affordable, quality healthcare and a less complex health care system.
3. Standing up to the abuse of power by prescription drug corporations.
4. Ensuring healthcare is a right for all, not a privilege for the few.
