Poetry Collection – Part 2

Hello everyone! I come to you today with a second poetry collection, hopefully, something to provide a distraction from today to focus on the arts and the world. These are all original poems, but I have credited some of my references below. Remember that you, too, can change the world, and please reach out if you ever need anything.

Bohemian Rhapsody was inspired by the song by Queen of the same name. This was my interpretation of the song, and how I think the lyrics could be twisted in a way. I will change the world because was for my PTA Reflections submission, however, I didn’t end up submitting it. This poem was really based on the fact that at such a young age we are naive and don’t know yet what we want to do with our lives, but changing the world is really done to your own standards, not to anyone else’s. Finally, Remember When was inspired by the time that I was young. I yearned so badly to be older, to be a teenager in High School who goes shopping on the weekends. I do enjoy my time as a high schooler, but I miss the days when I was naive and didn’t know the pain that the world has.

Thank you guys for reading today’s collection. Have a happy and safe holiday!

Love, Carissa

PS: The poetry in today’s collection is in a pdf form in the images that you see below, in order to see if the length and lagginess of the article change or not. Please let me know if you have any issues with accessibility!
